The third game in the series was originally intended for the Sega Dreamcast console, but, after Sega discontinued the Dreamcast, the game was retargeted at the Microsoft Xbox. A three-dimensional platform game, it was released in October 2002. The gameplay is primarily based on that of the original ToeJam & Earl, though elements from Panic on Funkotron were also included. Ecco the Dolphin 2: Sentinels Of The Universe is a cancelled adventure game and the unreleased sequel to Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future, that was developed by Appaloosa Interactive for the Dreamcast. There is not a lot of information available about this cancelled sequel, but it seems that a collector found a playable beta version in a Dreamcast development kit. Take The Bullet [DreamCast – Cancelled]

Take the Bullet was a planned light gun video game for Sega Dreamcast from Red Lemon Studios. Unusually for its genre, it showed the character’s weapon on screen as in a first-person shooter, had an optional third-person view and was slated to have both online and split-screen multiplayer modes.

The game was originally announced for a Christmas 1999 release in Europe. This date was missed. As of March 2001, it was still planned for release, but never actually came out. It was never planned for release in North America.  – [info from Wikipedia]
